Habitat: The Arctic Skipper can be found throughout Alberta from mid-May to June.  Prefers open areas of poplar and mixed forests.  Once found throughout North America, Europe and Asia the Arctic Skipper is now extinct in England due to habitat disturbance and pesticide use.
