Three-Flowered Aven

Habitat: Dry grassy areas.

Description: Divides at the base into three lobes, the uppermost is the largest.  Has only a few opposet stem leaves.  3 pink-purple nodding flowers grow off of long stiles.

Size: 30-60cm tall.

Fun Facts:  The Blackfoot used to crush the seeds of Three-Flowered Avens to make perfume.
