The Canadian Nature Federation is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to protecting nature, its diversity and the processes that sustain it. They are affiliated with more than 100 naturalist groups across the country.
Federation of Ontario Naturalists
The Federation of Ontario Naturalists protects Ontario's nature through research, education and conservation action. They champion woodlands, wetlands and wildlife, and conserve essential habitat through their own system of nature reserves.
Canadian Parks & Wilderness Society (CPAWS)
CPAWS is Canada's grassroots voice for wilderness. They save wilderness by campaigning for new parks and taking the lead nationally to make sure governments put the needs of nature first in parks management.
Environment Canada
The Government of Canada's website for information on anything related to the environment - climate change, clean air, nature, clean water. This information is available through online newsletters, publications, related sites and so on.
Alberta Wilderness Association (AWA)
AWA is the oldest wilderness conservation group in Alberta. For 32 years they have been effectively defending wild Alberta through awareness and action.
Friends of Fish Creek

Inglewood Bird Sanctuary
Located along the Bow River in Calgary, AB the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is a 32-hectare wildlife reserve with more than two kilometres of level walking trails throughout the riverine forest, and along the river and a peaceful lagoon. There are many opportunities for viewing a wide variety of bird and plant species as well as several kinds of mammals. They also offer a variety of educational programs.
Weaselhead Glenmore Park Preservation Society (WGPPS)
The Weaselhead Natural Environment Area is a unique and naturally beautiful urban park located in Calgary, Alberta. Locals are justifiably proud of this Area and work hard to conserve it. This website has an amazing amount of information from lists of Area wildlife species with photos to free ecotours and education programs for all ages. This is a site well worth checking out!

Alberta Conservation Association is a charitable organization committed to the conservation and enhancement of Alberta's natural biological resources. Their core business is to contribute to sustainable management of Alberta's wildlife and fish populations, and the habitat upon which they depend.
Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative

Stewardship Centre for B.C.
This website is similar to the Land Stewardship Resource Centre yet they also have online the extensive Stewardship Series - an information series that challenges the public to link human development and natural ecosystems to create healthier and more sustainable communities.
Audubon Co-operative Sanctuary System of Canada
Audubon International and ACSSC provide information, guidance and support to help people become stewards of land, water and wildlife.
LandWise Inc.
LandWise provides awareness and practical land use advice for sustainable agriculture practices including nutrient management planning, site-specific management and conservation planning.
NatureScape Alberta

This is a comprehensive website produced and maintained by the Government of Alberta. Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration (PFRA)
For the past 60 years the PFRA has been working with prairie people to ensure the long-term sustainability of rural communities. They have regional offices and provide support on rural issues such as soil and water conservation.
Sonoran Institute

The Recycling Council of Alberta is a not-for-profit, non-political organization formed in 1987. Their mission is to promote and facilitate waste reduction, recycling and resource conservation in Alberta. They have a great online directory, the Enviro Business Directory that's worth checking out.
