Recycling Council of Alberta

The Recycling Council of Alberta is a not-for-profit, non-political organization formed in 1987. Their mission is to promote and facilitate waste reduction, recycling and resource conservation in Alberta. They have a great online directory, the Enviro Business Directory that's worth checking out.

The Alberta Emerald Foundation for Environmental Excellence

This foundation recognizes the outstanding initiatives and leadership of Albertans who are contributing to environmental excellence by protecting, preserving, enhancing and sustaining our environment. There are a variety of categories in which the foundation presents awards so if you know of an Alberta organization or individual deserving of this recognition check out this website for nomination information.

The Town of Priddis

A website for the community located South of Calgary, neighboring the Cross Conservation Area.

Priddis Millarville Residence Association

Anas crecca
Male: chestnut head, with a green strip running back from each eye, and a white shoulder patch.  Creamy breast with black spots, and grey sides. Female: mottled brown back, with a pale belly.  Both have a small bill.
