The Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area is proud to launch the Lasting Legacies memorial bench and table campaign — an opportunity to place an enduring memorial in one of Alberta’s most treasured landscapes.
We’re inviting you to be part of something special — dedicate a bench or picnic table on our trail system that will be appreciated by visitors for years to come. Whether in memory of a loved one, in celebration of your family, or as a meaningful gift from your business that demonstrates a care for environmental preservation, your plaque visible from a scenic spot at our 4800-acre natural area becomes part of the story of this land.

In 1987, Ann and Sandy had a dream to protect 4800 acres of land for Alberta wildlife and future generations to enjoy. Today, we continue their vision through fund raising and community partnerships. By joining this campaign, you become a part of this important legacy, allowing us to further our mission. - Close to home, and a world away.
The Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area is a pristine natural preserve with stunning views of the surrounding Foothills and Rocky Mountains, only 15 minutes from southwest Calgary. As a protected area, we do not allow the use of vehicles, dog walking, smoking, hunting or camping, creating the ideal setting for peaceful contemplation. - Support conservation of vital wildlife habitat.
Funds generated by this campaign will directly support the Cross Conservation Area’s valuable work in preserving and restoring habitat, providing inclusive and engaging environmental education programs, and ensuring that the area remains open and accessible to our visitors year round.
· Named Bench: $6,000 (10-year agreement)
· Named Picnic Table: $8,000 (10-year agreement)
(renewals should be made before the conclusion of the agreement)
