Learning in Nature

Education has been a founding principle of the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area from when it was first established.

Since our programs began in 1993 over 125,000 participants have experienced environmental education the way it was intended to be, in nature. The ongoing pandemic has impacted our ability to deliver programming. As a result of limited capacity, the ASCCA has withdrawn from the Campus Calgary Open Minds program. Despite this, we are still able to offer hands-on day programs and guided hike experiences for Grades K-12, contingent on staff and volunteer availability.

Please complete an  Education Intake Form if you are interested in organizing a visit. We will do our best to follow up with you if we have availability.
You can view our  Bookings Calendar for an idea of dates that might be available.
