Our annual BioBlitz, happening this year on Saturday, June 28, is an invitation to get to know the wide diversity of plants and wildlife that call the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area home. Learn how to identify Alberta wildlife and experience our trails with a series of interactive stations. Discover what it means to be a steward of the environment and help us to protect habitat for years to come.
- This event is suitable for all ages and welcomes families. The hiking trail we picked includes an optional shortcut that any participant may use.
- Parking for the event is free, but donations are welcome and appreciated!
- Please drop-in to this event any time between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Register at our education building for a BioBlitz route map and guide to native species.
- The event will take place regardless of the weather, so come prepared! Bring suitable footwear, clothing, water, and sunscreen.
