"Autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go.”

Join us for a half-day retreat in the serenity of the foothills at Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area (ASCCA) located south of Calgary. You will have an opportunity to nurture your mind, body and soul through a grounding and restorative yoga practice followed by a guided reflective forest bathing walk.

Yoga will involve gentle movement, breathwork and meditation and no experience is necessary. Forest Bathing is a practice grounded in research that points to numerous physical and mental health benefits. It involves immersing oneself in the natural environment to promote relaxation, reduce stress, help support emotional wellness and enhance overall well-being.

We look forward to sharing this renewing afternoon of wellness and connection with you.

Your guides for the day are Christine Jenik and Kim Marion. Kim is an Occupational Therapist and certified Yoga Instructor. Chris is a retired Educator and certified Forest Therapy Guide. We are guides, not therapists. We believe that nature is inherently therapeutic; our role is to help support people to reconnect with nature and through gentle yoga reconnect to their body and mind; allowing them to reap the many health benefits both practices provide.

"This was such a great retreat and I felt so calm and relaxed afterwards! Overall it really helped me realize what “being mindful” of my surroundings really means and that it can inspire a real sense of calm. Thanks so much and I hope you continue to offer this workshop at least yearly. ~Sheryl (Spring 2025 Retreat Participant)
